Description Meet the Dunphy family in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales. Myles Dunphy was one of Australia's early conservationists of the 1930s. Look closely at some unusual boots and work out their purpose. They are a set of special dog-boots, which Dunphy made for his dog to protect his paws on long bushwalks with the family. Recognise that parts of the Australian bush have been protected by the creation of national parks. Look at a map showing the location of Australia's national parks. This learning object is one in a series of two objects.
